Interesting Facts: Bred by Gene Boerner’s son in Gene’s honor; Gene Boerner pioneered the development of Floribundas and was known as “Papa Floribunda”. He developed over 60 floribunda rose cultivars during his 45 year career at Jackson & Perkins. 11 of Boerner’s roses were given the All-America Rose Selections (AARS) award.
