Food Pantry Donations
Donate to Hamilton County Food Pantries
Hamilton County Soil and Water Conservation would like to encourage all Master Gardeners to donate fresh vegetables and fruits to food pantries throughout Hamilton County.
Produce donations do not have to be large. Our thought is that even if a gardener only has 3 or 4 extra tomatoes one week, those are tomatoes that one or two families in need could use and really appreciate.
Here is a quick snapshot of the two ways to donate:
• Where To Donate Directory: This is a one page directory of the food pantries in Hamilton County that accept fresh produce donations from the public. The directory lists the name and address of each of the participating food pantries along with the days/times of when they accept donations. The directory is available for download at https://www.hamiltonswcd.org/foodpantries.html.
• The Farmers Bank Summer Produce Donation Program: The Farmers Bank branches in Noblesville and Sheridan will accept produce donations from the public this summer which will be given to local food pantries. From now until the end of September, the public is invited to drop off produce donations to the Sheridan branch (987 South White Avenue ) on Mondays from 9am – 4:30pm or to the Noblesville branch (16940 Clover Road) on Wednesdays from 9am – 5pm.
